I'm Reuben Croft, and I DJ as DJ Lil Spoon. I'm based in Windsor, Colorado, and I play weddings, anniversaries, private parties and corporate events in Fort Collins, Greeley, Loveland and across the Front Range.
How I got here.
I started behind the scenes, as the sound guy and wire man for BPM. I've had DJ gear and the itch to spin ever since, almost 10 years now.
Why “Lil Spoon”?
The name came from a corporate event. When you're the boss, you take a complex job and break it into small pieces. Some days it feels like spoon-feeding, like a tiny airplane of food headed for a kid's mouth. A little spoon. Boom. Now you know. It's easy to remember and it gets people talking. And sometimes you need a big spoon to stir the pot.
You book me, you get me.
I run the music, the mic and the lights myself. There's no rotating roster and no subcontractor. The person you plan with is the person at the decks.
Your night, your list.
You tell me the songs you love, the ones you have to hear and the ones that are off limits. I build the night around that list, then read the room and adjust as it goes. Setup and soundcheck are done before your guests walk in, and I bring backup gear to every wedding.
The music I play.
The ’80s through the 2000s is my era, but I love all music and I'm open to anything that gets people up and dancing. At public events, I keep it clean.
Milestone nights.
Anniversaries are a big part of what I do. Recent ones include a 50th, a 30th, a disco-themed 20th, and a six-hour anniversary party for about 200 guests.
The music I make.
I also produce my own tracks. “Clear The Floor” and “Crowd Control” are mine, and they're the music in my videos.

Questions & answers
Everything you need to know before you book. No surprises, no hidden fees.
How does pricing work?
Weddings are priced as packages; parties and corporate events are priced hourly. Every quote is exact and tailored to your date, venue and needs.
Fill out the booking form and you will receive an exact quote within 24 hours — not a range, not a guess. Most go out within minutes.
What is the deposit?
A 25% non-refundable deposit books your date. The balance is due 7 days before the event. Pay by Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, cash, or check.
How far do you travel?
Free within 50 miles of Windsor, Colorado.
Flat $75 travel fee for venues 50–100 miles away.
Beyond 100 miles, travel is quoted individually.
What is your cancellation policy?
The deposit is retained. Everything else is fully refunded if cancelled more than 7 days before the event. Inside 7 days, the balance stands.
One free postponement is allowed with 30+ days notice.
What is included in every booking?
Every booking includes:
- Professional sound system sized to your venue
- Dance-floor lighting and uplighting
- Wireless microphones for toasts and announcements
- A full backup rig on site
- Setup and sound-check completed before your first guest arrives
Do you MC?
Professional MC services are included in all wedding packages. MC work is available as an add-on for parties and corporate events.
Do you offer a photo booth?
No — I focus on sound, lighting and keeping the floor full. I am happy to refer you to trusted local photo-booth vendors.
Do you offer custom or negotiated rates?
Yes. The published rates are a starting point, not a wall. Weekday and off-season dates, multi-event bookings, non-profits and repeat clients all have room to move. Call or text (970) 412-8211, or put it in the notes on the booking form and I’ll work with your budget.
How fast will I hear back?
You will receive your quote within 24 hours — in practice, most go out within minutes. If you are ready to move forward, the agreement can be sent the same day.
Most clients go from inquiry to signed-and-deposited in one sitting on their phone.
